Staying at Westergate House turned out to be a delightful experience; the room was cozy, fully equipped, and spotlessly clean. The hosts were welcoming and offered useful local dining tips for the evenings. The meals were excellent, featuring a full English breakfast and various other breakfast favorites. Homemade jam was a real treat, and we also pre‑ordered sandwiches that were a real delight, along with homemade biscuits and cake placed on the hot‑drink tray in the room. After traveling with a popular overnight stay booking company for 11 years, I never tried a Bed & Breakfast until now, and I know what I've been missing! Don’t let a decade pass before visiting this specific destination and this exact bed and breakfast. It was such a treat! Hospitality, comfort, special treats, convenience, location, kindness, conversations, history, family, decor, solace, space, relaxation, hot showers, bus stop, Uber rides, local entertainment and events, and the most wonderful food I've ever eaten—all deserve more than 5 stars. In just two days, I met people from several different countries and heard their travel stories, yet we were all together at the same time for breakfast. Thank you for an exceptional experience!

The breakfast was excellent; the rooms were comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The shower in my mum's room could have used a hand rail for disabled.
