Schloss Hotel GbR

We really liked how warmly our dog was welcomed, and the room choice was fine. On the third floor there’s a small balcony offering a nice view of Benrather Schloss. The hotel’s location is superb for exploring the castle, its park, and the Benrath district—all within easy walking distance. The building is a bit old‑fashioned, and some parts no longer meet today’s standards, but for those of us who grew up in the 70s, it still evokes memories. We enjoyed it and will return.

“Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt”

We stayed there while visiting the Johnny Depp exhibition at Schloss Benrath. The hotel’s location is simply perfect, with a free parking space in the courtyard. After the exhibition we followed the hotel’s recommendation to a nearby Italian restaurant and were very satisfied. The reception, the conversations, and the breakfast were very appreciative (coffee and eggs were freshly prepared). The hotel definitely needs some renovations in a few areas, but that’s happening after the “Corona years” in many small hotels gradually. Still, the friendliness and charm of the staff make it easy to overlook these issues.

The rooms are nicely furnished with a kettle and a small fridge, the owners are very friendly, and the location is good. Unfortunately it’s a bit noisy because it’s right next to a busy intersection.

“I enjoyed my stay for the reasons above plus it was comfortable and very quiet”

The central location, the very friendly and helpful owner, and the lovely breakfast made for a great stay!
