Located within a 5-minute walk from Zlín's city centre, Hotel Saloon offers rooms with free WiFi, private bathrooms, and garden or street views. The on-site restaurant serves Italian and Czech cuisine for breakfast, and features a fitness centre, massages, and sauna (surcharge applies). The hotel is close to Obchodní Centrum Zlín mall, Lešná Zoo and Castle, and Malenovice Castle, with parking available on site.

The promenade is lovely for walks, and there’s a decent pizzeria near the beer hall. Close by is a reception restaurant called Sončny or something like that. At the end of the promenade, to the right, there’s a supermarket with a bistro offering Korean and local cuisine—cheap and tasty with large portions. There are no air‑conditioners, but there are fans, and I didn’t feel much discomfort in early autumn.

The accommodation was great, the breakfast superb, and everything in Žilina is within walking distance from the hotel. A big bonus is the pizzeria and restaurant right next to the hotel. The only issue was that there were no window screens.

The reception ladies were absolutely perfect, and the food was very good, but the door delivery was bad.

The location is great right next to the Zlín‑Dlouhá train and the trolleybus stop is in front of the building; the hotel itself offers a restaurant, a pizzeria and a pastry shop, and the breakfast is good. The older furniture would not bother me, but the mattress is terribly soft and the bathroom needs a curtain by the tub and a towel hook.
