Hotel Bent

“Disappointed, it didn’t meet our expectations!”

The location was very good, the room was nice and the TV a bit small, and the room was extremely clean. The staff were indifferent and not available after lunch until the next morning, the vegan breakfast lacked imagination, there was no restaurant, and it feels more like an Airbnb but with hotel prices.

“Een bezoek aan Bent is puur genieten.”

For plant‑based food lovers, the breakfast buffet is often a hit, but not here. It was a celebration! Because the hotel and restaurant are still relatively new, the owner struggles to always offer dinner. We were lucky to snag a spot for dinner (Saturday with many reservations). That dinner was also plant‑based and superb. A tip is to ask in advance whether dinner will be available. Don’t let that affect your visit: there are several nice restaurants and boscafés nearby. You’re also right in the centre of Oisterwijk with a wide selection. What an impressive project to set up. Everything was considered. The beds were the best we’ve ever slept on. The room was bright and beautifully decorated with a lot of wood. Friendly people. Top location. Ideally situated relative to the NS walking route from Boxtel to Oisterwijk. After visiting Bent, be sure to walk past the Natuurmonumenten Groot Speijck visitor centre. It’s a nice spot for the whole family, with a small shop and many walking options.

I loved the location and the room, but there was still a lot of dust in the room—on the windows and the nightstands.

“Wir waren sehr sehr gerne bei Ihnen und würden wirklich gerne einmal wieder zu Ihnen kommen:-)”

The location was great, everything was easily reachable on foot or by car (a bike would have been nice!). The vegan menu convinced us to pick this tastefully decorated hotel, and everything tasted wonderful. We found the friendliness of ALL staff especially valuable ☺️ The overall design of the hotel was very tasteful, a visual and soulful vacation in itself… I couldn’t say I didn’t like anything. Because my daughter and I have some bone issues, we would have liked the bed a bit softer (though it’s overall a great bed). Maybe offer a softer topper for those who find the current mattress a bit hard. 🙏

The staff were pleasant, the bed was wonderful, the room spacious, and the surroundings were calming. The building was a bit noisy.
