A friendly spot, quiet cottage. Perfect for heading to Mont Carleton park, a nice stop before reaching the Gaspésie. I wish we’d met the host to chat.

The room was spacious, very clean, and the beds were comfortable; they cleaned the room between our two days there. It was the first time we had breakfast ingredients in the fridge for us to prepare, and the breakfast was good and plenty. The location was convenient, close to Mount Carleton Park, though I would have liked a BBQ available.

The location and the room are great. A practical note: the shower head should be swivel‑capable. We’re not given breakfast; it’s not a bed‑and‑breakfast. The food offered is simple and self‑served.
