“Lovely hosts, amazing location, perfect rural Onsen experience.”

The location was superb—quiet, with a view of Mount Yufu—and the private onsens were perfect, one of which was always available when I needed it.

The atmosphere was tranquil and very pleasant; the breakfast was decent, and the private hot spring was nice. However, there were no free rental bicycles, the room had an old‑smelling odor, and the terminal was a bit far to walk from.

“Exceptional accomodation and lovely hosts”

I had an amazing stay that I’ll definitely return to! The elderly couple run everything themselves, including a 10/10 breakfast, and the place is clean, well‑maintained, and fully equipped (yukatas are provided). They offer two indoor baths and one outdoor bath with a reliable reservation system—no long waits or missed times. The rooms were spotless, featuring a small coffee/tea table on the top floor and a washing machine. It’s also conveniently located, just a 20‑minute walk from Yufuin Flower Village (parking there is a nightmare, so this spot is ideal). The only drawback is that there isn’t a place to dry clothes; you can wash them, but there’s no spot to hang them, even though the hosts give drying hangers.

The bath system was user‑friendly and the rates were reasonable and fair; the breakfast was tasty, the surroundings were quiet for a relaxed stay, and the proximity to the station made it convenient. It would be nice to have a towel rack in the washroom.
