Hotel Excelsior Bari is situated 100 metres from Bari's shopping area and a 3-minute walk from the rear entrance of the train station. Elegant parquet floors and free WiFi are standard in all rooms, which feature functional, modern furnishings, marble bathrooms, and windows overlooking the courtyard and private road. A sweet and savoury breakfast buffet is served, including cold cuts, cheese, croissants, and homemade cakes.

It’s within walking distance to the train station. The surroundings are dirty and filthy.

The hotel is great, very comfortable if you arrive by train, close to the center, and the welcome aperitif is well appreciated. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. This time I booked last minute, so the cost was higher than in previous stays. The only drawback is the terrace, which is basically on a busy street.

The spot is great, right next to the station and easy to get around from there. You can walk to the historic center and the big‑name shopping streets. The breakfast area, however, is too cramped for the number of guests.
