B & B La Terrazza sul mare

The location is good and the room and bathroom are nice. I was surprised to discover it was on the 9th floor of the “skyscraper”. The views are great but might not suit everyone. With one of the only two lifts broken at any time, it was a bit stressful. On arrival with heavy bags we had to take the lift to the 10th floor and carry them down the stairs. One afternoon I had to climb the stairs to the 9th to get something. The breakfast was mostly cheap supermarket long‑life items and not always fresh (for example we saw the same pastry for five days straight and were fairly sure the so‑called orange juice in a tetrabrick was fermenting and diluted).

“Great central location good value comfortable accommodation.”

The room offers a great view. Rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is good, and the air conditioning works well. Nothing else to add.

Mauricio was a very friendly host who treated us to a lovely breakfast, and the view of Portoferraio is absolutely stunning! The building itself looks like a construction disaster from the outside, so when we arrived on the island the impressive accommodation with its great amenities, breakfast, and spectacular view really surprised us – we can only give a positive rating. “It was convenient to port and clean with good view”

The location is convenient for ferries, buses, car hire, and restaurants, and the view was nice; the room was clean and pleasant. The lift was slow, and we were supposed to stay on the 9th floor but were told we would have to move to the 11th, which was fine. The bar downstairs was noisy, and there was no kettle for tea, so we bought one.

“skvělé, určitě doporučuji”

The breakfast was perfect, daily housekeeping was reliable, a large bottle of water was available every day, the bed was very comfortable, parking in front of the building was hassle‑free, everything was very clean. The coffee machine made excellent coffee and addictive candies. The terrace seating was nice, it’s close to the center, and the view of the harbor is great. The room had synthetic fragrances spread around, which I’m allergic to, so I removed them; in my opinion that was completely unnecessary because the room was very clean and fragrant, and I stayed there for 10 days. The air‑conditioner was a bit noisy, but I got used to it.
