“Lively quiet retreat, bring books”

This tiny hotel lacks a restaurant, bar, and pool, but its quiet location is far from the bustle. Getting to Lixouri Town and the Agostolli ferry is a breeze. The rooms are very comfortable, and the owners and staff are fantastic. Unfortunately, the economic downturn in Greece has shut down many eateries, so the beach area is now unmanaged with wild grass and plants. If you don't want a long hot 2.5 km walk to the beach and the taverna along the coast, a car is a good idea.

“Lovely place to stay in Lixouri”

This was our second visit, and we’re eager to return. Breakfast is delicious and varied daily, featuring many homemade items. Lina is lovely and works hard to ensure every guest is well taken care of. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and quiet, and the location is very convenient. We had booked a “sea view” room, but the two windows faced the streets at the side and back of the building, not the water. Management claimed every room qualifies as a sea view because the hotel sits on the beach, which was disappointing. After two nights, we switched rooms for the remaining six nights to one overlooking the water, which was wonderful and a completely different experience.

The location is great, with the beach right outside the door and the town within walking distance. Other beaches are easily reachable by car in five to fifteen minutes. Breakfast was tasty and varied, but I would have liked some cheese or breakfast meats on offer instead of the marmorcakes and other sweets.

“Authentic loveliness”

Everything was spot on—authentic hospitality, a great spot, and stunning views. Thanks a ton, Lina and Anastasia! The only downside was having to head home 😞.

“Lixouri foi uma boa surpresa”

The owner, Anastácia and Lina (a small family hotel) were wonderful, very friendly and helpful 5*. The breakfast was always varied and homemade (felt like we were at home). The location was excellent, right across from a small beach, in a calm spot with good restaurants.
