I’ve stayed at the Mediterranean Palace many times, mostly for business when I’m in Thessaloniki for meetings and work, and I honestly say it’s the hotel I always return to without hesitation. What I value most isn’t just the pretty rooms, the cleanliness, or the facilities; it’s the people. From the reception desk and the ladies who tidy the rooms every day to the staff at the entrance handling the parking, you see a team that knows how to do their job right. There’s politeness, speed, professionalism, and above all, a human touch. That, for me, is real hospitality. The same goes for breakfast and the restaurant—you don’t feel like a service is just being performed; there’s care and genuine interest in the guest. I’ve worked with a lot of people and learned that a good outcome isn’t random. Behind a well‑run hotel there’s a team and a culture, and that’s evident at the Mediterranean Palace. The only thing that might bother some visitors isn’t the hotel itself: directly opposite are shops that, on some evenings, play quite loud music, which can disturb sleep. That’s obviously beyond the hotel’s control, but I thought it was worth mentioning. All in all, my experience was clear: a hotel that respects the guest, has people who know their trade, and most importantly, makes you want to come back. And that’s perhaps the biggest compliment you can give a hotel: to leave knowing you’ll choose it again the next time you’re in town.
