I turned up for my birthday on the same day I arrived, and the team surprised me with a box of doughnuts and candles – they’re great, all of them.

“Wouldn't stay here again”

The rooms were clean and tidy, but I had booked a room with two single beds and none were available – only a double bed, which isn’t ideal. The reception staff didn’t smile, were unhelpful and seemed annoyed when we asked questions. The room lacked a kettle and cups; at first they wouldn’t give them to us, but we eventually received them. We didn’t stay for breakfast because the staff were still unhappy. I won’t stay here again.

The pool was nice and they organized transportation for my next journey, but it was on a main road.

I slept on a huge, comfy bed and liked the pool, but there were no lounge chairs, cushions or anything to relax on. It worked for a single night but nothing more. There was absolutely no soundproofing; a karaoke was playing next door while I was there, all the way until very late, and it felt like I was inside it. The housekeeping in the bathroom was average.

The bedding was comfortable and the room was fully equipped. Breakfast was varied and changed from day to day. I had the room right next to the restaurant, and the walls were quite thin. The staff bothered me twice while I was trying to sleep because of toilet and air‑conditioning issues that actually belonged to another room. Better communication among the team would probably help.
