Central in Pottenstein, close to cafés, restaurants, the castle and the picturesque countryside. The room was clean, the breakfast delicious, and the staff warm and attentive. It was my first visit to the city and I would choose this place again. Everything was peaceful and stunningly beautiful.

Everyone was present and it was very cozy. The pension owner was very nice and helpful. Perhaps the bathroom could use one or two more hooks for hanging clothes.

I stayed at Bruckmayers Gästehaus, which is smack in the middle of town with everything nearby. The baker, brewery and restaurants are sadly many no longer operating for economic reasons, but there’s always a good spot for dinner in the evening. The place is very tourism‑dependent. The guesthouse includes breakfast in the price, has its own beer garden and a cool lounge area, and there’s always something tasty on offer. The room has a balcony, great for looking out. The night is quiet with no traffic noise, and parking is free in the courtyard. From the guesthouse you can walk in any direction or use the guest card to take public transport. We had a nice four‑day stay. I don’t know any negatives.
