The hotel sits right in the historic centre, which I liked. The standard room felt a bit dim and cramped; we should have booked a comfort room in the B & B, which looked better.

Giada answered almost immediately, and Victor was efficient and helpful. They arranged a very good doctor who did house calls, which was great because my husband had vertigo and the doctor was very supportive. I didn’t like all the steps in the room, and I was disappointed that we didn’t have a street view.

The location is excellent, right in Palermo’s pedestrian centre. Our room was on the second floor, so it could be tricky if you have large luggage. The room and facilities are high‑quality, vintage‑decorated, with a spacious bathroom and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good, offering salty snacks, sweets, and good coffee. If you have a car, you can park at Piazza Marina (100 m away) using the ZTL app for a €5/day pass. I could hear noises from the neighbouring room, but it wasn’t a major issue for us.

The rooms were large (the family had two rooms). The bathroom in our room was very spacious and modern, with pleasant low‑level background music that could be turned off. The reception and breakfast area were small, but they had what was necessary. The staff were friendly, and a man even brewed good coffee for us every morning. Breakfast was typical Italian, not extravagant, but the Nutella croissants were a hit with the kids. There is a good restaurant right at the hotel entrance, and the shopping streets are a short walk away. I’ll definitely come back. The bath was the highlight. The mattress was slightly uneven after several guests, and the kids’ rooms had no window.
