La Demeure du Capitaine

“The Halloween vibe was perfect and the owner was so very charming! Great stay!”

The breakfast was solid, and the location, view, and balcony were all gorgeous. The room, however, lacked luggage racks, the nightstands were too small and hard to reach, and the shower window was confusing.

“Super maison”

The room and bathroom were good. The camaraderie with other travelers was a bit lacking.

“Une belle demeure décorée avec soin et un accueil chaleureux, avec un cadre un peu strict”

The room was beautifully decorated with great care, and I could feel how much effort Pauline and Jérémy put into making the place warm and pleasant. Everything I needed—towels, a hairdryer, and bathroom products—was provided. I also appreciated Pauline’s friendly welcome and her suggestions for local restaurants and activities. I would have liked the ability to make coffee or tea on my own during the day, outside of breakfast. The extra breakfast priced at 25 CAD seemed a bit simple for that cost; it included two croissants, some bread, spreads, fruit, juice, and coffee, with a complimentary yogurt. A more elaborate option would have been nice, though I suspect the menu changes daily and my experience reflects just one day. Even with the warm reception, the many rules in the house sometimes made me feel overly cautious, preventing me from fully relaxing.

The room felt very cozy and was thoughtfully designed.
