“Boutique unique hotel with stone walls”

We picked Lola because of its central spot, close enough to walk through Old Town, the quay, and to see the church from our windows. There was paid underground parking nearby that was easy to reach after dropping off luggage, and it was painless to haul luggage back to the car at the end of our stay. We felt very safe in Bordeaux, even though there had been protests the day before. As a couple we walked everywhere without any trouble. The hotel staff were warm and welcoming, fixing a problem with our first room right away. The second room was lovely, with a night‑lit gothic church right across the street. The fresh‑squeezed orange juice in the morning was fabulous. It’s close to the train station, so dropping the car was easy. The breakfast could have been a touch more professional – wipe the outside of the salt, pepper, and sugar dishes that everyone uses, and add lighting to the very dark stone staircases; this should be auto‑activated and available at all times.

“séjour agréable...au 2ème étage sans ascenseur”

The bread selection was good, but there was little fruit. The coffee was very good and the fresh juice was great. There was almost no fresh fruit and no yoghurts.

A charming boutique hotel in a lovely part of Bordeaux with easy access to trams and the like. The staff were very welcoming and there was a nice bar to relax in. It would have been nice to have a restaurant on site, but that didn’t bother us because there were plenty nearby.

“Ambiance musicale et cosy près de l'église St Michel, proche du tram et Garonne, quartier piéton”

super petit déj et accueil par une sympathique jeune italienne que j'ai prise pour une bresilienne , c'est rare les jeune capables de citer Proust! L'éducation nationale italienne va rendre jaloux la francaise. Jeune fille si gentille qu'elle m'a porté mon bagage de 10 kg à l'étage, en core merci! Décor très cosy. Et le tram à 3mn a pied , direct pour palais congres et autre ligne direct aéroport pour 1euro 90 , super bon plan. Ambiance musicale le soir jusqu'à 23h en arriere fond agréable pour moi, depuis ma chambre. Autour de l'église St Michel , ambiance touriste le jour mais je rentrais tot le soir vers 20h car seule pas très sécure autour, beaucoup de groupe d'homme célibataire dans les bars à coté, ou les rues autour . Absence ascenseur mais ancienne maison en pierre de taille, et l’accueil m'a monté la valise spontanément
