The spot is gorgeous, with great beaches just around the corner. The breakfast was excellent, dinner was fine but leaned heavily on pork dishes, and the drinks were very cheap. The rooms were nice, though strong wind made the rooms echo loudly. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
“Hôtel à conseiller sans hésitation”
The hotel’s location, its access to the cove, and its exceptional view.
“Cadre fabuleux et un service exceptionnel de la responsable.”
The view, the setting, the beach access, the pool. Extraordinary service from the manager leading a quality team. The room terrace had no partition, a significant view‑through with neighbors. The view from the rooms looked out onto the pool. Room 122 had a bathtub far below the standard.
The hotel went beyond our expectations. We booked a larger room but were unexpectedly upgraded to a suite upon arrival, which was perfect for our two‑week stay. We felt very comfortable. Room service was outstanding, with meticulous cleaning. The beach was easily reachable via a concrete staircase, and a shower was installed at the foot of the stairs, which was very handy. The beach itself was a dream, the cove untouched, no rental chairs, and free umbrellas were available at the reception upon request. There was also a large book‑exchange shelf and games. We took one of the three back‑gammon sets with us and enjoyed the time on our huge terrace. It was very pleasant that nobody had reserved a sun lounger by the pool; there was always plenty available and we could return our lounger in the evening. Overall the crowd was very pleasant, and I liked that after dinner there was no option to sit at the bar (due to noise and such). Everyone had a personal fridge, so evenings were spent on our own balconies enjoying the quiet. The buffet breakfast and dinner were better than expected. I'm not a big meat eater, more of a fish fan, which was served very well, but the meatballs on one evening were especially tasty. Sunset dinners were a dream, and the especially bright Venus will stay with me forever. On the downside, because of health reasons I can only drink decaf coffee, so I had to order one each morning, which was charged. It was nicely presented with a cookie and a small sprinkle of cinnamon. The pool loungers were uncomfortable and some were fixed with bolts, so we never stayed more than 1‑2 hours there. That was a minor flaw, as we were out and about a lot.
The room was beautiful and spacious. Cleanliness was fine, the bathroom was fine. The staff were very kind. Direct access to the beach below (not great but still convenient). The kitchen needs improvement, very limited selection, quality to be reviewed. The location is at least half an hour from well‑equipped and nice beaches.
