Clean, quiet, parking, bike storage, tasty breakfasts, friendly staff; the mattresses were firm, and there was only one small, flat pillow.

The little park behind the hotel with its pond, the tiny outdoor pool, and the varied breakfast were nice. However, to stay here you’d better be deaf. We spent two hellish nights: our neighboring rooms fought at 01:00 for about half an hour, waking us up. On the second night they threw a party from 01:30 to 04:30 with shouting, music, and people coming and going, all with the hotelier’s blessing and no intervention. The receptionist didn’t speak English, so I couldn’t voice my complaints. The décor was cold and basic: a single ceiling light with harsh white glare, a reading lamp for three beds, minimal acoustic insulation, and a bathroom that smelled like rising sewage.
