The place is right by the ocean, and my room had a cozy spot to read with a view of the trees while the waves could be heard at night. The shared public washroom felt surprisingly private, and the bath was fantastic. The host was always nearby to help with any questions. Nothing negative.

The location is great, the reception lady is friendly, the onsen is wonderful, the sea view is stunning, the patio is nice, the traditional style is appealing, the alien décor (even if a bit odd) is unique, and the borrowed yukatas are a nice touch.

Walking to Futami Kōgyō Shrine takes 10 minutes, making it perfect for an early‑morning stroll. The place is undeniably old, depending on who you ask.

The elderly woman at the front desk was very warm and considerate, which left a good impression. The tatami was as new as fresh, bright green and clean. However, other guests had children in a group on the second floor, and the running and hallway voices were audible and quite annoying. The building is old, so it’s understandable, but a heads‑up during check‑in about keeping noise down at night would help.
