Hôtel Boquier, Avignon Centre

The location was very convenient for us (close to the train station and old town). The room itself was adequate in size and equipment, and the bed was good. Breakfast always had fresh croissants and brioche. The staff were friendly. However, there was a peculiar smell in the reception and kitchen area that might have come from the cats. The dining tables felt sticky even though they were wiped. The toilet paper holder was directly behind the toilet, requiring some awkward adjustments. The shower soap and shampoo were only available in small sachets, not in large dispensers, which is completely unacceptable.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the train and bus stations and the town centre; the room was cozy with quiet air conditioning, the breakfast was good, and the owners were very pleasant, so I’d gladly return.

The spot was great, within walking distance of the train station and the city centre, and the staff were friendly and helpful, though the bathrooms weren’t very clean at first—there were hairs when we arrived, but they cleaned them daily—and our second‑floor room wasn’t ideal for heavy luggage.
