The setting in Bodenmais was quiet, the staff friendly, and questions were answered quickly (they need to work on language skills); the view of Bodenmais was great. The mattresses were a bit too firm, the bathroom fixtures were old‑fashioned (high bathtub entry), the shower didn’t work properly, and there was no bar at night – the alternative options were insufficient.

The place was quiet and only a few minutes’ walk from the centre; the house was peaceful, the breakfast excellent, and the rooms were clean and nicely furnished. The initial interaction with the staff was awkward, but after a few words they became warm and courteous, so we didn’t mind that.

The location was great with a beautiful view of Bodenmais and the sunset; the staff were very friendly and the pool area was lovely. Breakfast was tasty 😋, the centre was within walking distance, and there were many leisure activities in Bodenmais. The mattresses were a bit too firm.
