“Clean and spacious away from the chaos of the Compestella”

The kitchen is spacious and ready for cooking. I appreciated the separate male/female showers and bathrooms, something a few recent hostels didn’t offer. The showers are roomy enough to shower, dry, and change. All dorms have sliding doors, and the place is super clean. For my needs, the location was good: a 20‑minute walk to Compestella and a 25‑minute walk to the bus/train station. A grocery store is a 5‑minute walk. I wonder why hostels can’t have male and female dorms; I’ve been to a few that did and it’s so much more comfortable. This dorm had two bunk beds (yay!) but we were two ladies and two guys. At least there are privacy curtains in the mixed dorm.

“Nice but be careful of check-in times”

The staff are friendly and the common area is nice. Check‑in is only between 1 – 6 pm, which can be inconvenient if you’re finishing a Camino, especially since it’s a decent walk from the centre.

Miguel is very helpful and friendly. The room is large and clean. The kitchen is also clean and spacious. No complaints.

everything, the kitchen, the beds, the rooms, the cleanliness, the management, the location, it's ideal for a good rest in Santiago after long walking
