Looking for a simple hotel on the Lenk for one night with everything you need without feeling deprived. Found Hotel Garni Alpenruh, treated to a very friendly and warm atmosphere and very cheerful staff.

“Great find for an overnight”

I was upgraded from a single room, probably because most rooms were still available during my midweek stay. My room featured a nice balcony, a snack table, and two comfy reading chairs. The owner walked me through everything, showing me how the reading lights worked and even giving hiking tips. She and her husband run a small old‑style general store in the same building, which is worth checking out. The pillows were comfortable and not too lofty. There’s a common room downstairs with free tea and a sofa, but I didn’t use it because the view from my balcony was better. I think this place is a great find, and I was very satisfied with my stay.
