“Convenient for a quick visit to the city - especially if you arrive by bus or train.”

We stayed just outside the station, could leave luggage there, staff were very accommodating and friendly, reception opens at 10:00, free coffee and a snack and drink vending machine in the communal area, but no bathroom before you’re checked in. It’s within walking distance to Old Town, we felt safe inside and enjoyed a lovely walk in Cristina Enea Park just across the street in the early evening, and a grocery store was also just across the street. Overall highly recommended for a one‑night stay in San Sebastian where accommodation isn’t the main focus. The only downside is the area around the building isn’t very clean, but that’s not their fault.

When we left our belongings after checkout, we were asked to use the toilet and were offered to go to a public one on the street; the room had terrible noise and very high humidity, making it uncomfortable.

The room was spacious for the price, free coffee in the common area was helpful, the bathroom was easy to use, and a shared fridge was available. Dryer, iron, and thermometer were stored in the shared storage shelf. The staff cleaned and were friendly. When I asked for a towel swap instead of a full cleaning, they complied. The station is about a two‑minute walk, so the nearby supermarket was convenient, and there was cold beer. A shop with early‑morning bread and snacks was near the bus stop. Walking to the center of the bar scene took about ten minutes, a good distance for a stroll. Bus to San Sebastián and then to Bilbao was also available, so the hotel’s proximity to the bus stop made it very convenient and inexpensive. The way from the station to the hotel was difficult and confusing; after leaving the bus stop and station, you go up the slope toward the old town on the opposite side of the slope, and there are stairs, but if you go around the other side there’s a slope, so carrying luggage is fine.

The room was new and clean, and we could get it earlier than expected. A small dining area in the room would be more convenient.
