Friendly, helpful, comfy, excellent food, and nothing was wrong—everything was fine.

I was happy with the location—close enough to walk into town but far enough to keep the noise down. Linda, Peter, and their dog Badger were wonderful hosts, and the bed was so cozy that I fell asleep to the rain on the windows one night. Overall, a great stay.

The experience was solid and the host was friendly. The only gripe I have is that, as a light sleeper, I wish guest houses and hotels offered blinds or curtains that actually block out the sun; I need a truly dark room when I pull them down to sleep.
