“Stunning beautiful view from balcony yet needs safety, security, and air conditioning improvements”
The place had an excellent location and was very scenic. The room was well‑stocked with coffee, dishes and utensils, and the owner was responsive. The bathroom was good, but there were many tiny non‑biting bugs at night that forced us to keep cleaning them up everywhere. The rooms were mostly hot (no A/C) even with fans running, and the fans required the large windows and doors to stay open to allow airflow, which made the rooms insecure from the back and front walls and exposed us to potential intruders. From dusk to dawn we heard a constant, loud chorus of frogs, crickets, or something else. There was a lack of horizontal space such as a desk top, we needed another chair, and the many stairs to reach the unit were slippery and dangerous when wet.
