“Lindo recuerdo en Catapalla Lunahuaná”
The location is strategic (I didn’t know it before), because it’s near Lunahuana, in Catapalla where all tours and sports you want are held. The hotel also has direct river access, so when we went canoeing they brought the boat to the hotel. Juan and Anderson +51 976 327 250 were amazing guides—very patient even with my 3‑year‑old daughter. Next to the hotel is Edinson +51 976 349 047 who rents ATVs and horses; he’s an excellent guide. Everyone at the hotel was very kind, especially Molly, who my daughter wouldn’t let go when we had to leave—my little one asked if Molly would come with us too. There’s an adults’ pool with a well‑marked kids’ area. There’s also a renovated kids’ zone with swings, a slide, and a trampoline. The place even has tables and chairs for resting while the kids play. When it rained (which didn’t happen), we found a ping‑pong room and a table‑tennis area. We were two adults and a girl, staying Monday through Thursday, so we were almost alone, which turned out to be a great thing for us. Everywhere the mosquitoes were terrible! (Not the hotel’s fault, haha). The Wi‑Fi should work in the rooms—I wanted to work at night in my room but couldn’t. The intercom in my room didn’t work, but since it was close I just walked to the lobby. The pool had a lot of leaves and insects; we had to clean a bit before getting in, which was a bit fun. There was a lack of music (that’s my thing); my husband loved that there was no extra noise, which depends on taste. I understand the staff starts early for cleaning and garden maintenance, but on the day we were supposed to sleep in late, we woke up very early because of something that sounded like hammering in the garden. It might have been better to adjust the work schedule to avoid disturbing guests.
