The spot is perfect for catching the Aarti’s, and from our shared balcony we could see the Assi Ghat. The building offers several shared balconies, and they managed to let us in early and set up an early‑morning boat ride. A new construction car garage might block the view a bit, but they even supplied us with an electric kettle.

The hotel is close to the Assi Ghat, but the construction in front of the terrace blocks the view of the Ganges and the Assi Ghat, so it’s not really available.

The guest house’s location is good, and I found this Assi Ghat cleaner than any other Kashi ghats, so you can spend a good time here. The food we ordered was good. The rooms were clean, but the blankets were not – the covers were torn. Also bring your own toiletries; they don’t provide hand wash. Another drawback is that you have to climb a few stairs to reach your room, so it’s not recommended for elderly people, and there’s no intercom.
