SpringHill Suites by Marriott Wheeling Triadelphia Area

“Great location and comfortable room that was quiet!”

The location was great and the room was comfortable, but an old rag was stuck on the shower door. The pool and fitness areas had been closed since April, and there didn’t seem to be any construction happening.

“Good enough, everything was fine, except for the cleanliness of the room”

I liked the spot up on the hill – safe, pleasant, and close to family, which is why I chose it. The room could have been cleaner; I found toothpicks on the floor and peanuts in a sitting area.

“Expensive. But I needed to be where I was rather than at cheaper stays 7 or 8 miles to the east.”

The hotel sits close to the Interstate, but it’s not within walking distance of downtown or the river. I had expected a room with one king‑size bed and a rollaway, yet I ended up with two large beds—unsure if they were kings or queens. I stayed Saturday and Sunday, thinking the room would be cleaned and towels replaced on Sunday, but that didn’t happen, so I spent more time outside to avoid the room being serviced.

The area is close to everything, the staff were very nice and helpful, and despite construction nearby the hotel stayed clean and the noise was not noticeable.

“Disappointed in service and lack of housekeeping”

I didn’t try the breakfast. We asked housekeeping several times, but nobody came to our room for three days.
