This atmospheric hotel feels excellent, with a welcoming team, a great pool, and a decent restaurant. The breakfast is outstanding, and the room is huge with a proper balcony. It’s just a bit out of town, which gives it a quiet, secluded vibe, and the accommodation and dinner are priced accordingly to its facilities.

The cute old hotel looked like an Agatha Christie set, and I even spotted a woman in a big hat lounging by the pool. It’s a small, friendly, old‑style hotel in the suburbs, a good base with on‑site food. However, they don’t put sauce on their food; my burger came dry with no ketchup, mayo, or any homemade condiment.

The hotel is very quiet and well maintained, and the breakfast is excellent in a super cozy, quiet dining room. The only downside is the pool schedule.

The tranquility was great, but one evening there was a minor sewage issue in our room. It was not a recurring problem.
