The location is about 3 kilometres from Viterbo’s centre, and the building is new and clean. The breakfast, however, is far below the room price of almost 100 euros for two people for one night; it consists of four slices of toast, four single‑portion jam packs, coffee, and two bottles of water. For an “Italian” breakfast as described on Booking and given the stay rate, one would expect a wider selection – milk for cappuccino or latte, fresh fruit or juice, at least a brioche or croissant, or a single‑serving tart. The owner’s reply to our question about the bland breakfast was evasive: “It’s written in the ad, but if you want more toast…” I leave any further commentary to the reader.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and the quiet setting on a large estate in Viterbo was easy to reach – everything was just right. Everything was liked.
