Mazunte is a tranquil place for traveling or vacationing, and the hotel delivers on that main point. Super quiet, comfortable bed, private bathrooms, and peace in the surroundings. Highly recommended. Not everything was perfect, but that’s not the hotel’s fault; some guests aren’t respectful. Still, everything was perfect. Although reaching the hotel is a big trek through steep, unpaved streets, it’s totally worth it.

The place is pretty, and the staff is very friendly. There’s no air conditioning and, even though there’s a kitchen, you can’t use it. The location isn’t the most convenient. Taxis are expensive and hard to find, so if you don’t rent a scooter you have to walk uphill and the heat makes it tough.

Great location; I liked being up the hill with views over the ocean, but some might find the walk up to the hotel too challenging. The toilet had issues flushing properly, which I recommend they fix; the problem might be due to low water pressure.

The house is really pretty with a nice garden, and the staff were very friendly. The bed and mattress were old and uncomfortable, the room wasn’t clean, and there was no hot water.
