The view and location were great, but the room felt outdated and in disrepair: the carpeting was stained, the lampshade had holes, wood trim around the mirror was coming apart, the ceiling tiles in the bath were warped, the wall grate in the bath was filthy, the commode was low to the ground, and getting to the eating areas was tough for anyone with mobility issues because of the stairs.

We stayed to play golf, so the location was convenient; a driving range with individual booths made it perfect for a golf group, and the breakfast restaurant next door was excellent, while Avenues offered good drinks and food after a round.
