The spot’s spot-on: close enough to walk to both the airport and the town, but a car is still the smarter choice; there’s plenty of parking, and everything’s easy to reach.

Dear Mrs. Maria ❤️ Thank you so much for everything you gave us during our vacation. We felt wonderful at your place—like at home. Everything was impeccably clean, tidy, and prepared with a lot of warmth and attention. The most beautiful thing of all was you. In such a short time, you have grown close to our hearts and become a person we will not easily forget. When we left, it was really sad for us to have to say goodbye. If I could, I would have taken you with me. ❤️ Our rating for staying with you is not 10—it’s more than 10! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We wholeheartedly recommend you to anyone looking for a cozy, clean and warm home for their vacation. With you, you don’t just get a place to stay, but also a feeling of home and a person that you can carry with you in your heart. Thank you for everything, dear Marija. We hope to meet again someday! ❤️ With the greatest gratitude and fond memories, Joli in Alen ❤️

The apartment is cozy and immaculate in a beautiful building, 3.5 km from the airport and a 5‑minute drive from the city centre. The elderly lady who welcomed us was extremely warm, and we felt right at home as if we were family members. We would have liked to stay longer.

The apartment is well kept and the host is charming, very kind and pleasant. It’s clear she puts a lot of love and attention into maintaining the house. However, my experience was affected by the location. It’s about a 25‑minute walk from the city centre, which in principle wouldn’t be a problem, but the area felt unsafe, especially when traveling alone. Right in front is a detox clinic and a shelter for the homeless, and during my stay I experienced several situations that made me feel really unsafe: people followed me on the street, tried to enter the building with me, and asked me for the access code while they were drinking and using drugs right at the building’s entrance. It’s a real shame because the apartment itself is very good and the host is a lovely person. But I think it’s important for other travelers, especially solo travellers, to know what the environment is like and to consider this before booking. In my case, I didn’t feel safe returning to the accommodation alone.
