Cleanliness, very friendly staff, the excellent room furnishings, and the decorative restaurant were all positive points, and there were no negatives.

“Totalement déçu”

The hotel is far out of the way and the pictures make it look much nicer than it actually is, more like a roadside motel; on arrival there was no hot water because the heaters were off, so after a six‑hour drive we had only cold showers, the air‑conditioners were being used to heat the room which didn’t work and it stayed very cold, and no VISA cards were accepted—every card was declined. We booked a room with a Jacuzzi but couldn’t use it because the water was cold, there were no room keys so we had to wait for them to be found, the AC remote was missing, there was no internal phone system so we had to walk the 250 m to reception for anything, the TV remote had no batteries, the beds were decent with good mattresses, there was little noise except a leaking water balloon that dripped on a metal plate all night, and our car was blocked in the parking lot by another vehicle forcing us to wait about 20 minutes to leave even though the lot is staffed. Overall there’s a lot to improve and the rates are far too high for the service level.
