“Adequate but could be better for the price.”

The staff were excellent. The TV was broken and the extractor fan off, but a Filipino man at reception fixed it right away; he and Mr. Santos were very personable and helpful. The location was good. The hotel is only a 3‑star and basic, with a badly stained carpet, non‑working TV and extractor, and a tired overall feel that didn’t quite match the price. The duvets were very thick for the season and uncomfortable. The cooked breakfast was poor, the weakest part, but the staff made up for it.

“Expensive, the room was dirty, curtains with holes in Un-hoovered Shake n Vac on carpets 😖”

We paid London‑price rates for a dirty, tired room with torn curtains, shaking and vacuum everywhere, and it was never vacuumed. We felt completely ripped off. If this hotel appeared on a “Four in a Bed TV” show, it would be rated £60 a night, not £227. It seemed more suited to working tradesmen than holidaymakers. A refund would be appreciated. 😞

“Average week’s holiday. No entertainment. Small irritations.”

The breakfast was fine, but the advertised ballroom dancing on a sprung floor never happened during our week there.

The hotel sits in a very quiet, peaceful area outside the city, yet the bus ride to town is quick and convenient. Walking distance gets you to The Little Chapel, the Occupation Museum, and the Underground Hospital, and the airport is nearby. Breakfast is plentiful with a wide selection, and the staff are helpful.

I loved how remote St‑Peter felt, the short walk through the woods to Petit Bot’s beach and the bus stop right in front of the hotel were perfect, and the staff were truly delightful. The only downside was that the three‑person room felt a bit cramped.
