Candlewood Suites Baltimore - Inner Harbor by IHG

The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the location is convenient. The shower is spacious and the small kitchen comes with a full‑size fridge, which is a nice touch. However, the mattress is far too soft, the facilities look dated, and the TV lacks smart apps—only cable is available. The view is blocked by two long walls that run all the way from the city, and the pictures online were completely misleading. It’s hard to set a bedroom mood with the limited lighting options.

“We will be back”

Everything we needed was there and the room was incredibly comfortable. The only thing that could have made it better was a coffee bar or something similar, though I didn’t notice one.

The location is close to the harbor, with a variety of businesses around—restaurants, a spa, tobacco stores, and bars—all within walking distance. The staff were exceptionally friendly and kind, helping me find places to visit. Despite some negative reviews, my stay was great; I spoke with the front desk upon arrival about the reviews, and he mentioned they’re working to improve things. I have no complaints and will stay there again when I visit Baltimore.
