Shinagawa Beach

“value for money for a short stay , excellent beach”

The staff went above and beyond to help, which was a bright spot. I had stayed here many years ago when it was brand new and it was a fantastic hotel on a very good property, but now it feels very run down and clearly needs a refurbishment and upgrade; the staff compensated for many shortfalls that were beyond their control.

This place is brilliant for a staycation if you prefer not to venture far; the breakfast is amazing and the pool is great too, but the location is a bit inconvenient because it's in a small town with few food options nearby.

“Lovely hotel, location not very touristy”

The hotel was very nice, the room was clean, and the view was lovely, yet the restaurant doesn’t serve alcohol and you’re not allowed to bring your own drinks.

The staff were very friendly, but the rooms feel a little old, as do the chairs and the sun shade by the beach; just outside the hotel, locals are trying to sell stuff and are very persistent.

While the beach view and location of this hotel are truly spectacular, I was underwhelmed by my stay. The hotel itself feels overpriced and in need of renovation, with outdated common areas, lifts, and bathrooms. Although the staff was friendly, there were some practical issues, such as no alcohol license, which wasn't mentioned during booking, and limited snack options for early arrivals. Overall, I didn't feel that the hotel lived up to its star rating or price.
