“Would I stay here again? No. Would I recommend the hotel to someone? No.”

I appreciated that the hotel manager allowed me to pay in cash and even waived a one‑night incidentals fee; kudos to Ms. Cynthia Bailey for excellent front‑desk service—she even handed me two cookies the next morning when I asked about the missing ones from the night before. However, I was told at check‑in that cash was not accepted, which was a real inconvenience since I wanted to avoid using my card; I was also disappointed that the warm cookies, a hallmark of DoubleTree hotels, were missing. My room was decent, but the microwave was loud and seemed about to explode, the Keurig was broken and wouldn’t brew, and the cabinet housing the microwave and refrigerator barely closed. I only stayed in that room because most of my time was spent outside for conferences.

“Very helpful and friendly staff.”

The quality was good. The only problem was that the breakfast sign had duct tape on it, and I’d like to see protein options other than pork.
