A boutique hotel that was recently designed, very comfortable and welcoming. The rooms are unbeatable and the location is spot‑on. There’s really nothing to mention; reception and staff service are wonderful.

The hotel and room were spotless, the breakfast was good, and the location was excellent. The staff were very friendly, especially Luidgi, who helped us with everything throughout our stay.

The location and cleanliness were good, but it was noisy at night.

They kissed us. The entrance and elevator were an issue.

The hotel sits right on the border of Naples’ Spanish Quarter. Finding the entrance was a bit tricky because it’s tucked into an alley between the outside seating of two restaurants. If you arrive after 6 or 7 PM, you’ll need to ring the hotel buzzer—same entrance is shared with other apartments in the large building. The entrance is a big wooden door with a multi‑button gold intercom; press the Hotel Matilde button if you’re arriving at night and they’ll buzz you in. Then take the stairs to the second floor to reach the hotel entrance.
