The hotel had all the basics covered, with a nice whirlpool and sauna, a decent breakfast, and spotless rooms; the front desk staff and breakfast attendant were especially friendly. However, the bed felt too firm and the shower curtain was flimsy and didn't block light well.

The spot was convenient for breaking up our long annual trip, and we could park both our truck and boat nearby; the bed itself was comfortable. Still, the place feels a bit old‑fashioned, with wall marks showing where furniture and pictures once hung, and the breakfast was quite mediocre.
