“Strange experience.”
I didn’t get a chance to find out much before arriving. The experience was odd: I entered the apartment and was told I’d only booked the room for one person; I checked and realized I’d made a mistake. If we wanted two people, there would be an extra €25 charge, which felt steep, especially since breakfast wasn’t included. I was also told that air‑conditioning was an extra charge, even though the property’s email and description said each room includes air‑conditioning, a work desk, and soundproofing. I pointed out the discrepancy, but they kept referencing a single place on the site that mentioned an additional cost for air‑conditioning. It was around 40 °C that day, so I argued it seemed unreasonable to mention the extra charge only once while elsewhere it was listed as included. I was tired and frustrated, and it started to feel like a scam, so I paid the air‑conditioning and extra person fee, then left for another B&B where the price for one or two people was the same and air‑conditioning was included. I admit it was my fault for booking as a single and not checking every detail for hidden fees, but please update your description and add these costs to the confirmation email. Otherwise it just feels like a scam.
