We loved this place; it was an unforgettable experience doing the games and seeing the big five with experienced people. Jason and Paul went above and beyond our expectations during the games. The whole team was cordial and helpful. The meals were very tasty and our candlelit dinner was fantastic. You definitely won’t regret it. The room was also very comfortable. Everything was perfect!!! Congratulations to everyone.

They offer a nice, comfy hide overlooking the waterhole. However, the vibe felt a bit pretentious for the price, and the overall experience didn't match the cost. We stayed only one night; their boma dinner fell short—no pre‑dinner drinks, a bland chicken curry, and no guide hosting. The next morning we left before breakfast, skipping the game drive because we were disappointed and uncomfortable. Even getting a cup of coffee was a struggle. The manager showed no interest in asking why we were unhappy.

The best part of the lodge is its small capacity of 10 people, which keeps everything very family‑like and the staff remember everyone. Super friendly! The food was amazing—delicious steak and perfect curry. Every safari tour was unique; after just two drives we had already seen the Big Five, and the other trips revealed many young animals, an impressive experience you have to do once in a lifetime. Everything was perfect.

The whole package: sleeping in a bush tent, game drives, nice people, good food—everything was top. This was our second visit, and we’ll definitely come back next time.

Everything—the food, the game drives, the lodge—was wonderful. Daniëlle, Tim, and Paul went out of their way to make us comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at KwaMbili!
