“Really lovely place for family to stop about an hour drive from the Channel Tunnel.”
The family suite was gorgeous, spacious, and perfectly positioned for Calais/the tunnel. The three‑course meal and breakfast were lovely, especially after a long drive. Nothing to complain about.

Valerie and Ludo were outstanding hosts, and the garden was amazing, making us feel very welcome. The downside was that it’s on a main road, so traffic made it noisy at night, and there were also people making a lot of noise outside.

The owners went out of their way to help us adjust our check‑in time, and we loved the house’s décor, huge garden, and the friendly Beagle dog. My five‑year‑old noted that there was no TV, which was a bit of a joke.

We had a short but excellent stay! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with exceptional warmth and kindness by our hosts, who immediately put us at ease. The accommodation matched the description perfectly—everything was impeccably maintained, well‑equipped, and tastefully decorated. Nothing was missing; we truly felt at home. The exterior was a true haven of peace; the large, well‑planned garden invited relaxation and allowed us to enjoy the calm. A big thank you to our hosts Valérie and Ludovic for their hospitality and availability. We recommend this place with our eyes closed and will gladly return on our next visit!
