“Wonderful stay with great areas for game rides, the Klaserie river bed area was beautiful.”

The lodge’s common areas are very nice and inviting for relaxing, and all staff were attentive and kind. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are super comfortable, and the outdoor terrace in the room was lovely to unwind on. Food was excellent every day, and the game rides were great with a good variety; our guide Joe was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. On the downside, sometimes the animals are too close; I’d rather not intrude so much on these beautiful creatures, though others might enjoy that extra proximity.

“Absoluut 10/10!”

Everything was perfect and high quality. The accommodation was very nice and comfortable, the bed was amazing. Staff were very, very friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely amazing and they really go out of their way to make the experience unforgettable. We had lunch and dinners in various settings. The gym is small but well equipped. Massages were amazing and the game drives were fun and comfy. Nothing, it really was perfect!

I had a fantastic time at Camp George. I was welcomed very warmly and everything was shown to me. The room left no wishes unfulfilled: a very comfortable bed, a bathtub, an indoor and an outdoor shower, and a minibar that met all needs. The camp has a great outdoor area including a waterhole. The food was fantastic and Julius made our game drives special. He showed us not only the Big 5 but many other animals and explained a lot. During my stay the bar staff changed, and before the change the mineral water came in a glass with ice cubes and lemon, but after the change I only received a plastic bottle on the table. Not a big deal, but the service should stay consistent even when staff changes.
