“Very disappointing and needs attention!”
The location was great, close to restaurants, attractions, and major highways. I asked for a second‑floor room mainly for the view and to have curtains open for light; the room was small but acceptable for a short stay. The facilities needed maintenance and updates. Access to my room was through a dark, dingy stairway, which worried me because we saw people and families hanging around the building, rooms, passageway to the rooms, parking areas, and playgrounds. I told the front‑desk staff about my concerns and asked if another room was available; they said the hotel was sold out and fully booked, and offered to cancel. I chose to keep the room. The king‑size mattress in room 220 was crushed on one side; when I sat on it my wife said I almost disappeared! I could sleep okay only if I stayed toward the middle of the bed. We stayed two nights and found two roaches, one small and one medium. We had planned to stay four nights but left after two. This was my second stay at this hotel, the first about four years ago. We had concerns about the property condition then but didn’t write a review. I would not consider staying here again, though I might try Red Roof Plus elsewhere.
