Hütte 3 is a Spartan‑style cabin that has all the essentials: stove, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, and a wonderful shower in the bathroom. It sits right in nature with a fantastic view, a dream for purists and nature lovers. The heating failed, yet the host immediately arrived with an electric heater. Thanks again!

The host sent clear instructions on how to get the key and lock the door. The place was easy to find and had everything I needed. I was looking for a quiet spot to unpack and rest, and it was perfect. The sky was cloudy, but I still caught the colors of the Northern Lights.

Actually nothing was okay. A wooden shack without comfort. No heating, only a small fan that takes forever to warm the room. Even the bathroom couldn’t be heated (night temperatures of 4 °C were not pleasant). The shower and the silicone seams were rotting. The tap at the sink was loose! No step at the entrance, only a wobbly Euro pallet.

I stayed in a cute little cabin right in the middle of a mossy plain, close enough to Arnes and Fludir to be convenient yet far enough to feel secluded. It was super cozy and ideal for couples. The host was incredibly helpful, supplying extra kitchen tools we needed. We felt warm and happy inside! The kitchen itself was very basic, but the hosts quickly supplied extra cookware. The only sink is in the bathroom, so washing dishes is a bit awkward.
