The location is honestly the best part—you’re super close to the beach! Having a parking spot was a total lifesaver, especially with how tight those Unawatuna roads are. And Mr Sugath, the caretaker, was really helpful and friendly. He made us all feel so welcome. There were some marks on the bed sheets, but luckily we had packed our own from home, so it wasn’t a huge deal for us.

The spot was great, the beach just across the street, and every café and shop was within walking distance; everyone was hustling back and forth in the immediate area. The mattress was too soft for us, sagging in the middle and making it uncomfortable to sleep, so swapping it would make the stay perfect.
