The accommodation was basic, but the owner was lovely and patient with my terrible Spanish. Ensuite bathrooms, comfy beds, a simple kitchen and dining area were fine, and the Wi‑Fi worked great. The quiet hilltop spot gave a decent view of the Andes, but I struggled to use the stove.

The staff were friendly, the kitchen and dining area were decent, and the mountain view was nice. But the 4‑person room was uncomfortable; the mattresses were in bad shape, everything shifted when I got on the bed, and no one cleaned during my four days. A shared‑room hostel should have more attention to detail.

Juan Carlos gave us a fantastic welcome and was always happy to share his advice. We felt at home, everything was spotless, and the breakfast was great.
