Ronald and Maureen turned out to be the most welcoming hosts you could hope for, greeting us with a great mood and warm friendliness that made us feel right at home. Their three dogs were a delight to meet, and I even got to cuddle them before we left, which truly brightened my day.

The house felt like a beautiful countryside retreat; the room was roomy with an ensuite and complimentary shampoo and conditioner, Ron and Maureen were a fantastic couple—down to earth and friendly, the food was varied, plentiful, and tasty, and their three dogs added a charming bonus; they kept the dogs penned in the living room away from guest areas and only let them out when I asked.

The host was super friendly and funny, gave great tips for local excursions, and the breakfast was excellent; the host was very flexible. The location is very quiet but a bit far from larger towns and only reachable via narrow roads.
