Great location, excellent breakfast. The staff are super friendly. Breakfast offers local products and some items made with fruit and vegetables they grow themselves. The room size is perfect, and I had a fantastic open view of the hills from the room.

Breakfast was outstanding, the location is amazing—surrounded by greenery yet only a two‑minute drive from the city center. The staff were exceptional, especially Mariangela and Alessandro, who made us feel right at home. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

We stayed at the Arenara Garden House from 24 to 26 August, a wonderful spot in the Matera countryside just outside the town. The property is brand‑new, comfortable, and spotless. The staff are friendly and eager to give more than requested. We opted for the half‑board plan and… words fail: breakfast was abundant and varied, both savory and sweet, with homemade fruit cakes made from local fruit. Dinner was huge, featuring authentic, high‑quality dishes. Highly recommended.
